INNERSECTION SURFER: Nate Yeomans

WHAT LED YOU TO WORK WITH NATE FOR INNERSECTION? When I first heard of Innersection, Nate was the first surfer to come to mind because he's a surfer who a lot of people don't know about, he absolutely kills it surfing, and just made the world tour. Plus, he's a good friend of mine who lives in town and he's fun to work with.

>WHAT WAS YOUR GENERAL APPROACH TO MAKING THIS? My approach was to go out and get the best clips possible. That means waking up early for the good lighting, shooting late for the evening gold, chasing every swell that comes our way, and setting up trips. All the footage is shot within the last couple of months.

WHERE DOES MOST OF THE SURFING TAKE PLACE? Most of it takes place in Cali for now with a little Indo and a side of OZ thrown in. I have other trips planned for later in the year that I will add to Nate's section.

WHAT CAMERA WERE YOU FILMING WITH? I'm shooting HD with the Panasonic AG-HPX 170.

HOW INVOLVED WAS NATE IN THE EDIT PROCESS? As of now it's a rough edit as we are still constantly adding footage, but as the submission date nears I'm sure Nate will be giving me more suggestions.

ANYTHING YOU WANT US TO WATCH FOR IN THE SECTION ‹ SOME SUBTLE BIT WE MIGHT OTHERWISE MISS? That's for the viewer to figure out. You have to leave some things up to the imagination.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE SECTION'S STRONGEST FEATURE? So, far the strongest feature is the quality of the whole clip. The surfing, color, and the feel.

WHAT DOES THE SECTION TELL US ABOUT NATE YEOMANS AS A PERSON? The guy is classic. Super funny and not too serious out of the water. He's just living the dream.

IF YOU QUALIFY FOR THE DVD, DO YOU HAVE A PLAN TO GO BACK TO WORK ON THE SECTION? Definitely. If it qualifies, maybe Nate's sponsors can kick in a little dough to make Nate's clip off the charts.
